Experience Royal Treatment at Graycliff, Nassau Bahamas

Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant is offering a special three-night package to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.

The majestic Royal Treat getaway begins as guests are welcomed and chauffeured from the airport to the historic hotel. A decadent treat of Graycliff chocolate and a bottle of house champagne welcomes them on arrival to their room. The package also includes full breakfast daily; the chef’s “Royal Treat” tasting dinner with wine from Graycliff’s award winning wine cellar; dinner at the Humidor Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse and for rest and relaxation, a beach day at Blue Lagoon Island. On departure, guests’ pampering continues with VIP access to the Graycliff Divan – the airport lounge at Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport.

“Throughout its history, Graycliff has been a retreat for nobility from the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Princess Caroline of Monaco and King Olav of Sweden to more contemporary ‘royalty’ including Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Paul Newman and Michael Jordan,” says Enrico Garzaroli, President and CEO of Graycliff. “We’ve created the Royal Treat to celebrate the Queen and her 60-year reign as the head of state of the Bahamas, and also to celebrate our guests who we believe should always be made to feel like royalty at Graycliff.”

Prices for Graycliff Royal Treat Summer Package start at $1,669.00 for two persons in a deluxe room, for a three night stay. This is inclusive of all taxes, service charges and round-trip on-island transportation. Higher room categories available. This package is available for booking and travel until December 15, 2012.

About Graycliff
Graycliff, the elegant mansion, was built by Captain John Howard Graysmith, a notorious 18th century pirate. In the centuries following, it passed through several hands, ending up as the property of Lord Dudley, the Third Earl of Staffordshire. During its Royal period, Graycliff hosted noble
personages such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor (Britain’s former King Edward VIII) and Sir Winston Churchill (who favored Graycliff’s Pool Cottage). Lady Grace Dudley added a strong English accent to the decor of Graycliff, with finely crafted furnishings and priceless collections of antiques, some of which still decorate the hotel’s guest rooms and public areas.
